Hazel Berger Photography

I am happiest with a camera in my hands. My training happened years ago when it wasn't so easy to crop, so I take care with my composition. I have taken classes at Evening at Emory with Ron Meyhew, Southeastern Center for the Arts, Wesleyan College and most recently at the Showcase School of Photography. I teach classes at Roswell Visual Arts Center.

To me pressing the shutter is like turning on a light. A magical glow changes the room.

Now, I have immersed myself in photoshop and illustrator. I rememberfirst taking digital images from one store to another looking for a better rendition of my print. That's when I decided it would be best to do it myself. It is truly amazing the quality papers available. I print my fine art work on a beautiful Hahnemuhle paper and Epson canvas with my Epson 9880 and 3800. You will love the end product.

Here is a pdf of my Artist Statement.
